Community guidelines

Last updated 4 November 2026

My Slot Car Track is a place to share layouts, swap ideas and cheer each other on. Members can be as young as 13, so please keep everything you post suitable for a family audience.

Be kind

  • Give feedback the way you’d like to receive it. Honest criticism of a layout is fine; personal attacks are not.
  • No harassment, bullying, threats or hateful content about anyone’s race, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
  • If someone asks you to stop, stop. You can block members you’d rather not hear from.

Keep it on track

  • No spam, unrelated advertising or repeated self-promotion.
  • No sexual or graphic content, and nothing dangerous or illegal.
  • Only post photos and videos you took yourself or have permission to share.

Private messages

  • Members aged 18 and over can message each other privately. The same guidelines apply in private as in public.
  • Don’t send unwanted messages. If someone doesn’t reply or asks you to stop, leave it there.
  • You can turn private messages off on the Messages page, block a member, or report any message. A moderator then sees that message and the ones around it.

Protect privacy

  • Never share anyone’s home address, phone number or precise location — including your own. Region is plenty.
  • We remove location data from every photo you upload, but check backgrounds for house numbers, car registrations and faces of people who haven’t agreed.

How we moderate

Members can report anything that breaks these guidelines. New and edited posts, private messages and photos are also checked automatically by an AI system, which flags possible problems for our human moderators. Content from brand-new accounts that the AI is very confident breaks the rules may be hidden until a moderator reviews it.

Moderators may dismiss a report, hide or delete content, warn a member, suspend an account for a period or ban it. Every decision is recorded. If you think we got it wrong, email hello@my-slot-car-track.uk.
